What this site is
A directory. Every listing describes somebody else's software and links to their own page, where you download it and where you pay for it if it costs anything. Nothing is hosted, resold or licensed here, and no download passes through this site.
A listing is not a recommendation, a review or a security audit. It records that an app exists, what its developer says it does, and what it cost when the listing was last corrected. Software changes faster than a directory does, so treat the developer's own page as the answer on price and features. Tell us when something is out of date and it is fixed.
What is not for sale
Position. Listings are ordered by the same rules for everybody, and no developer has paid to appear higher, to appear at all, or to keep a competitor out. Listing is free. If that ever changes, anything paid for will be marked as paid for on the listing itself, not disclosed at the bottom of a page.
Nothing here takes a payment today. Ticking the box on the submission form about paying to be promoted sends a message and nothing else.
Submitting an app
By sending the form, you are saying that:
- You made the app, or have the right to submit it for whoever did.
- What you wrote about it is true, including the price.
- It is not malware and does nothing on a Mac its description does not admit to.
- The icon and screenshots are yours to send.
And you are agreeing that:
- A person reads every submission. Sending one is not being listed.
- Copy may be edited for length and house style. What the app does will not be changed.
- A submission may be declined, though usually with a reason.
- Your name and icon may be shown on the listing and your developer page.
Removal
Write from an address that plausibly belongs to the app and the listing is corrected or taken down. There is nothing to argue about: a directory that keeps a developer listed against their wishes is one nobody should submit to. The same goes for anyone who believes a listing infringes their rights, and it comes down while it is looked at rather than after.
Names and icons
App names, developer names, icons and screenshots belong to the people who own them and are shown here to identify their software. Where no icon was supplied, this site may show the mark that developer's own website serves to browsers, and says on the listing that it did. No artwork is invented.
What is not promised
The site is provided as it is. It may be wrong, it may be down, and listings may vanish. To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for what you do with an app you found here or for information here being out of date. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Links go to other people's sites; what happens there is theirs.
