MirAIe AC Bar is a fast, lightweight menu bar controller for Panasonic MirAIe air conditioners. Change power, temperature, mode, fan speed, boost, and swing straight from your Mac instead of reaching for your phone, and add optional Siri Shortcuts like "AC On" or "AC 26" that keep working even when the app is closed. Install

Download the DMG from GitHub Releases and drag MirAIeBar.app into your Applications folder.

Sign In

Log in with your MirAIe account and select the AC you want to control from the menu bar.

Control

Adjust temperature, mode, fan, boost, and swing, or add the Siri Shortcuts pack for voice control.

What is MirAIe AC Bar?

MirAIe AC Bar is a free, open-source macOS menu bar app that controls Panasonic MirAIe air conditioners from your Mac, power, temperature, mode, fan speed, boost, and swing.

What do I need to run it?

An Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 26 or later, plus a MirAIe account with access to the AC you want to control.

Is it made by Panasonic?

No. This is an unofficial community project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Panasonic. It uses your own MirAIe account to control devices you own or are authorized to control.

Do the Siri Shortcuts require the app to be open?

No. Once you've installed the shortcut pack and selected your AC, commands like "AC On" and "AC 26" work even when MirAIe AC Bar is closed.

Where is my password stored?

Locally on your Mac, in the app's own support folder, along with the selected AC's metadata so it can reconnect faster. Logging out clears both.

macOS says the app can't be opened, what now?

It's a community build rather than an Apple-notarized one. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, and click Open Anyway. The README also documents a Terminal fallback.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. MirAIe AC Bar is free and MIT licensed, with the full source on GitHub.
